About Wegovy Tablets

Wegovy tablets (semaglutide) are a prescription-only medicine used to support weight loss and long-term weight management in eligible adults. They work by mimicking the naturally occurring GLP-1 hormone, helping to reduce appetite, increase feelings of fullness and support healthier eating habits. When combined with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, Wegovy tablets can help people achieve and maintain clinically meaningful weight loss. Treatment is only supplied following an assessment by a UK-registered prescriber.
